120 Exhibitors from 13 countries at the 43rd Kastoria International Fur Fair Buyers from 26 countries show great interest

Once again this year the Kastoria International Fur Fair will be the venue for considerable commercial trade and new collaborations. The exhibition space has already been filled to the limit with the participation of 120 Exhibitors, representing the largest and most dynamic fur businesses in 13 different countries.

The 43rdKastoria International Fur Fair, in line with market demand, offers unique opportunities to buyers so that they can find quality merchandise in a wide range of designs, colors and prices, thus attracting buyers from all over the world.

Indicative of their interest is that buyers from 26 countries have already signed up for their entrance passes. Some of these include well established fur markets, such as Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, the USA and countries in Europe. But there are also some newcomers to the market, such as Japan, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and China.

A significant presentation of a Korean mission has been organized by the Kastoria Fur Association in collaboration with Enterprise Greece and the Office of Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Greek Embassy in Seoul.

Providing important business opportunities to both Exhibitors and Visitors, the 43rd International Fur Fair is co-organized by the Kastoria Fur Association, TIF-HELEXPO and the West Macedonia Prefecture while it is funded by the biggest Fur Auction Houses.

More specifically, NAFA is a Grand Sponsor, while Kopenhagen Fur will be sponsoring the Fashion Gala that will take place on the opening day of the Fur Fair. Saga Furs Auction House is a Golden Sponsor.


Paris’s two most influential players on the international fashion scene - trade-show organiser Première Vision and the Fédération de la Haute Couture de la Mode - have signed a partnership agreement.

The goal of this agreement, which took effect on 1 January 2018,  is to support the young creative companies in their training and to develop creative and innovative fashion in order to bolster Paris’s position as fashion capital of the world.

Première Vision Paris is set to open this February 2017 session dedicated to the Spring Summer 18 collections with a stable offer of 1,678 exhibitors and a strong, international visitorship.
Set against a complex global context - marked by a changing fashion market and political, security and economic threats - the attractiveness and solidity of Première Vision Paris are driven by the demand for a selective offering, creativity as a structuring component of the industry, and a particularly rich program of innovations and news.
During the show, Première Vision will unveil the economic activity of materials for creative fashion within the framework of the Première Vision Barometer – as part of the IFM Première Vision Chair - for the first half of 2016. Their data already confirms a better performance of this particular segment of the market in relation to global activity.
From February 2017, the sourcing circuit followed by leather buyers and designers will be enriched with the introduction of new features coordinated by Première Vision Fabrics, Leather and Accessories.
 The Style Focus Forum dedicated to the season’s star silhouettes for the women’s, men’s and casual wear sectors – located in Première Vision Fabrics, Hall 5 – will now include a selection of leathers, to complement the fabrics and components offer on display there.
To optimise the buyer circuit and illustrate the interconnection between Première Vision Accessories and Première Vision Leather, the accessories offer for footwear and leather goods is being moved to the Première Vision Leather Trends Gallery in Hall 3. As a result, the Shoe Focus forum in Hall 4 is replaced by the Bag & Shoe Elements zone at the heart of the Première Vision Leather Trends Gallery. An area which will present the technical and decorative components specifically designed for the footwear and leather goods markets, arranged into various themes.
Echoing Première Vision Leather’s very selective product offer, Maison d’Exceptions, the annual event dedicated to rare savoir faire and exceptional techniques, will be present in Hall 3,  in a setting conceived by the Italian designers of Segno Italiano. 27 carefully selected studios – 10 of which are brand new to the show – will reveal their exclusive creations produced using leather, fabrics and accessories.

This season, the show’s 81 industrial exhibitors went all in on creative novelties, presenting original and cutting-edge collections for spring summer 18.
In addition to the collections presented by 63 weavers and 5 accessories manufacturers, 13 tanners rounded out the offer. Presenting at the show for the first time, this new industry segment attracted the biggest French and international names in luxury leather goods and footwear.
The fashion professionals present voiced their enthusiasm for the show, which, with this 2nd edition, confirmed the coherence and effectiveness of its concept. Aligned with the timing of the pre-collections, the show has already been integrated into the calendars at major fashion houses.
